Anti Sexual Harassment Cell
We have established Anti Sexual Harassment Cell in our college as per guidelines of the Supreme Court, Commissioner of Collegiate Education and UGC.
Aim
The main aim of establishing Anti Sexual Harassment Cell in the college is to provide safe and secure environment for the girl students and working women in the learning and working place.
Objectives
- To develop guidelines and norms for policy against sexual harassment and ragging.
- To provide an environment free of gender based discriminations.
- To fulfill the directions of the Supreme Court as per the UGC directions RCU implements a policy against sexual harassment in the institutions.
- To develop courage and seek the help from concerned official.
- To create awareness about seeking legal help.
Composition of Anti Sexual Harassment Committee :
A presiding officer, Senior Women Faculty member, 3-4 teaching faculty members, 2 non-teaching women members, 3 students and 1 officer from Police Dept.

Report of the Anti Sexual Harassment Cell : 2013-14 to 2017-18
There are no considerable or noticeable instances of sexual harassment in our college through out all these years. Only certain indisciplinary activities like eve teasing, passing comments etc are found which are listed below –
Cases Reported :
- Eve teaching
- Vulgar comments
- unhealthy behavior of girl students
- Jokes causing awkwardness and embarrassment
- Passing commends etc where found.
Cases Redressed :
- Security Guards have been appointed to control eve teaching and vulgar comments.
- Students have been warned strictly and disciplinary actions have been taken.
- Installation of CC Cameras in the office, class rooms, inside end around the college.
- Strict vigilance by security committee and the guard.
- All the reported cases have been redressed within specified time five to seven days.
