Purpose of establishment To empower women students
Aims
The aim of establishing women empowerment cell is to give information, knowledge and training to become physically, mentally, socially, spiritually and economically empowered and lead independent, well adjusted and dignified life.
Objectives
- To organize various programmes and activities for women empowerment
- To help the students to change their mindsetand attitude towards life and women
- To prevent sexual harassment.
- To develop their personality and leadership qualities.
- To make them aware of their social and legal rights against gender violence and gender discrimination.
- Motivate them to be highly educated improve qualification.
- To provide self employment opportunities and facilities.
Composition
Senior Women teaching faculty member works as Co-ordinator. Final year girl student is selected as student representative and all the women teaching and non teaching staff and girl students are the members of the cell.

- Special guest lecturers about various current and burning topics
