Department of Geography

The department of geography was established in the academic year   1996-97. The department offers Geography as one of the optional subjects. The institution started the department of Geography realizing the importance of the Geography in modern world. The department creates awareness about environment and water resources, soils, earth, vegetation’s and minerals.

  The department imparts the knowledge water resources and preservation techniques. Study of Geography is essential for future survival of mankind.    The study of Geography is helpful for those who would like to pursue their study further in B.Ed., P.G. and G.I.S. The department is instrumental in preparing the students for competitive examinations. The department has well equipped laboratory with LED Projector, Computer, Maps and teaching aids, etc,.
